Join the Greatest Global Humanitarian Campaign in World History.
The Time is Now.
The time for Women’s Day Live is now. Join us on March 8, 2024, International Women’s Day. This is Live Aid Women. Global connectivity. Global Engagement. Local Impact. Lasting legacy.
We are calling on the generosity of heart and visionary leadership of the Music Industry with the greatest urgency to use the power of music to bring the heartbeat of the world together in a global campfire to show we care and to share our common humanity, something we desperately need now.
We will launch the Heart in Action Global Humanitarian Campaign for the biggest Give Back Movement in history to deliver urgently needed Humanitarian Aid worldwide. All nations and charities can participate and join the International Women’s Day Music Festival. This day is celebrated in over 150 countries. It is wildly popular worldwide. Thousands of self-created events take place. We have less than 4 months to achieve an ambitious global effort. Live Aid proved the power of music to bring people together in a common cause. It had 40 simultaneous Telethons.
Join a Global Consortium of Strategic Partners for an ambitious and United Global Effort. It is vital that we make global and local Impact. We are in a catastrophic global humanitarian crisis. The scale of the global hunger crisis is heart-breaking. The WFP estimates 345 million people are facing acute hunger and starvation. UNICEF says it is the worst crisis for the world’s children in its 75th year history. We need to respond to this urgent need for help.
Some 25,000 to 30,000 people, including 10,000 children, are dying from hunger and related causes every day. Tens of millions of children and girls have fallen into poverty. Hundreds of millions of girls will be sold into slavery and child marriage. If we don’t take bold action now, women’s and girl’s progress and rights will be set back generations. We are not going back. This is not happening on our watch.
If we can stand together now, in a shared resolve we can be such a powerful force for progressive change. Many global leaders have said Women’s Day Live was a brilliant initiative that is way overdue. “It is a fantastic global charitable platform to get behind.” We met with the former President of the UN Assembly who greatly appreciated the potential impact that Women’s Day Live presents and offered to invite all member nations to celebrate their country’s women on International Women’s Day around the world.
As Universal Music has so insightfully declared: “Music is a powerful force for good. In a world that desperately needs to find more common ground… there is no better way to inspire people and bring them together”.
We have to be fierce in our dedication to save the future for our children and their children. Our lives and our future depend on it. This is our moonshot moment as a human family. Together we can do this. This is our moment of truth as a human family.
Join the HEART IN ACTION Global Humanitarian Campaign for the Biggest Give Back Movement in History
Benefit: Women’s Grassroots Funds. Feeding America. The World Food Programme. UNICEF. Save the Children.
Step Up. Give Back. Let’s inspire Heart in Action Teams across the world to raise urgently needed funds for these charities or their own. Gen Z and Millennials can make this a social networking take-over.
The transformative and healing power of music can bring the world together to find some common ground, most certainly in lending a helping hand to our suffering human family. As Lincoln said, the best way to predict the future is to create it.
All of us are being called to play a significant role in the world’s renewal at this most consequential moment in history.
Help Make the Impossible Dream Possible. Let’s Turn Action into Impact. I dedicated my life to be ready with a plan. I stayed true to this mission for nearly 14 years, coming close 5 times, as I aspired to create a model for impact investing and global systems change that could help save the future of democracy and help catapult capitalism into sustainability. This is my modest ‘I have a dream’.
Women’s Day Live is a bold and exciting idea whose time has come. I have never stopped believing in this dream made possible. Working together is our only great hope. Together we have the power to change the future course of history for the world’s women and children.
The very future of humanity is in our hands.
