A PASSION FOR THE POSSIBLE
Years of preparation and effort comes down to a single heartbeat in which one makes the impossible a reality. We have been passionately committed to achieving the dream of Women’s Day Live - to harness the power of global media, celebrity and technology to accelerate the economic empowerment of women worldwide with a fierce urgency for years.
We had all the elements ready, platforms, the venues, Live Nation agreeing to produce along with a world class team that would have given voice to women worldwide on March 8, 2018 just prior to Canada hosting the G7 summit. The reality is that funding did not come through in time. We’re forever saying we will do things, in recognition of where the greatest impact will come from for short and long term social change and yet we don’t. Ultimately, it’s about collective convening power and the political will to act.
We are poised to launch the inaugural Women’s Day Live (WDL), Global Benefit Concert to broadcast live worldwide on March 8, 2021 to celebrate a historic milestone for women.
IT IS TIME TO HERALD IN A NEW ERA FOR WOMEN. We stand poised at a transformational moment in history. It’s going to take the fighting spirit of all of us working together to achieve a significant breakthrough. Your support and participation are welcome. With renewed hope in our eyes and courage in our heart, we are going in to development to launch Women’s Day Live for March 8, 2021, and hope to launch the Women’s Day Live – Stories of Us Film in 2020 to release in 2021.
We invite the world's legendary female and male stars to set up for this spectacular all-out Global Benefit Concert and first-of-its-kind immersive global social networking event to open the hearts of people around the world to support and champion women and girls.
